About Club Zion

Club Zion was formed in 2000 by Dan & Lisa Bonin as a ministry that would help people of all ages discover that there is a God-given purpose for their lives. Everyone deserves a chance to be successful in life. We give students and adults our undivided attention and encourage them to further their education, participate in various programs and special training, and to work with peers to help them become productive and successful.

Scholarships & Mentoring

To help students, we have developed a scholarship fund that targets students wanting to attend college but lacking the resources and support. Since 2000 we have distributed over $250,000 in monies. Our staff also helps students find other means of financial assistance, register and locate colleges, and help with their studies. We become an additional voice and ear for students to voice their concerns and give them needed guidance and spiritual support. Once they are enrolled, we stay in contact with them to ensure that they are committed and encouraged.

Mentoring is a one-to-one relationship between two people over a prolonged period of time. The mentor provides consistent support, guidance, and concrete help to someone who is in need of a positive role model. People involved in a mentoring relationship may be going through a difficult and/or challenging situation, a period of life in which they need extra support, or they may simply need to have another significant person present in their life. The goal is to help people gain the skills and confidence to be responsible for their own futures.

Family Support & Counseling

Our society faces generations of poorly trained parents that are unable to understand normal family needs and are producing children that are turning to crime and violence. These families require special training, mentors and programs. We conduct family counseling and provide support to these families. All of our counseling and support is biblically-based.

Biblical Studies

We believe that a relationship with Jesus Christ is the key to living a successful life that is packed with purpose, direction and love. We conduct Bible studies, based on the specific needs of the particular group, organization or individual, and bring solid, Godly guidance and direction. We also guest speak at churches and events.

We recognize that we are not alone in doing our work for the Lord. As God has led us to work, He has also placed many faithful people along the same path that we might work together toward one common goal.
